The Lodge is situated half way between St. David's and Fishguard on the outskirts of the hamlet of Llanrhian.
Just a mile down a quite country lane from The lodge is the harbour of Porthgain and beautiful Abereiddy is just 2 miles away. In the opposite direction Trefin just under a mile away has its own cove Aberfelyn and Abercastle is just a mile further on.
The secluded beach at Traethllyfn is just 15 mins walk away, and the Blue Lagoon at Abereiddy is just 2 miles away whist Whitesands is just 6 miles away.
Trefin is a village with a pub, an artist's gallery and a couple of tea rooms. There is a local garage at Square and Compass just a mile away that can provide a wide range of groceries, newspapers, logs etc.
Apart from the wonderful location, The Lodge is well placed for amenities, there are three pubs, The Ship in Trefin, The Sloop at Porthgain and The Atramont at Croes-goch all within a mile from The Lodge. They all serve well kept real ale and also a good selection of bar food .
